Clubs to enjoy (My top three favorites):
2nd Story Blues: Located in Broadway, Fountain Hill- This is the place to sit back and let the music sweep you off your feet. Snacks and beverages are sold right at your seat.
Bourbon Blue: Located in Rector St- This is a high-class club to fill all your senses. Amazing music combined with the perfect meal and smooth ambiance.
The Twisted Tail: Located in S 2nd St- This is a phenomenal place. The food, the company, the artists make it, the flawless scene to get lost in time.
Festivals to go to (My most recommended ones):
West Oak Lane Jazz and Arts Festival: Located in Haines St- It is set every June and best of all it is free admission to all. Come to enjoy the best artists of Jazz, Blues and Arts.
Lancaster Avenue Jazz and Community Festival: Located in Saunders Park- It’s hosted every July. This is a great festival to enjoy with your entire family. They have all types of activities for all ages. Your children will come out with a great appreciation of this soulful music.
Tony Williams Scholarship Jazz Festival: Located at the Embassy Suites (Bartram Ave)- This is a festival to enjoy. You will have a wide selection of great artists with honoring celebrities of this grand music. You will even have seminars to participate in.
